Steve Ulrich - President

Mr. Ulrich is in his 15^th year of serving the Riviera school district as a school board member. He is a graduate of Ray High School, Corpus Christi and attended both Texas A&I University,Kingsville and the University of Texas, Austin.  He is a self-employed business owner.  Steve and his wife, Jo Ann, are the parents of four children.  Lucius, Naomi and Elizabeth are all graduates of Riviera ISD.  Jimmy is currently a 7^th grader at DeLaPaz Middle School.

Mr. Griffith is currently serving in his 3^rd  year as a school board member.   He is a graduate of Bishop High School.  He attended Texas A&I University, Kingsville where he earned his B.S. and M.S. degrees.  Mr. Griffith works as a ranch manager.  He and his wife, Debbie, have two sons, B.J. and Andy, who are both graduates of Riviera ISD.

Mrs. Gutierrez is serving her 5^th year on the school board.  She is a graduate of Riviera ISD and attended Texas A&I University, Kingsville.  She and her husband, Chefo, are owners of the Sports Center in Kingsville. Becky and Chefo are the parents of four children. Heston and Jessica are both graduates of Riviera ISD.  Katy is currently a senior at Kaufer High School and Dean is a 7^th grader at DeLaPaz Middle School.

Wilson Martin - Member

As Past-President, Mr. Martin is currently serving in his 22^nd year as a school board member.  Born in Saxis, Virginia, Mr. Martin graduated from Atlantic High School in Oak Hall, Virginia.  He attended Texas A&I University in Kingsville and is self-employed.  Wilson and his wife, June, have five children:  Kelly, Terry, Duane, Guy and Sandra.   All five of their children are graduates of Riviera ISD.

Mr. Naranjo is currently serving in his 2^nd year as a school board member.  He is a graduate of Kaufer High School, Riviera.  He attended Bee County College and Texas A&M University, Kingsville.  Mr. Naranjo is a boilermaker.  He and his wife, Davida, have three children. Deandre and Andrea attend Nanny Elementary and their son, Joey, is four years old.

Ms. Arguijo is serving in her 1^st  year as a school board member for Riviera ISD.  She is a Kaufer High School graduate.  Ms. Arguijo attended Texas A&I University, Kingsville where she majored in Physical Education and Mathematics.  She has two nieces, Cassie and Clarissa, who attend DeLaPaz Middle School.  Ms. Arguijo loves children and says that she wants to give back some of what she has received from Riviera ISD. 

Mrs. West is currently serving in her 1^st  year on the school board.  She is a graduate of H.M. King High School.  She received her B.S. in Elementary Education at Texas A&M, Kingsville and her M.S. in Guidance and Counseling at Texas A&M, Corpus Christi.  Mrs. West is currently a counselor at Ricardo ISD.  Lisa and her husband, Craig, have two children. Caleb, 13, attends Ricardo Middle School and their daughter Madison, 4, attends Nanny Elementary in Riviera.

Riviera ISD celebrates School Board Recognition Month with a tree set up in the administration building honoring our school board members.  Thank you for everything you do for Riviera ISD.
