Health News

The Texas Dept. of Health will be here on November 16th to assist me in providing a H1N1 Vaccine Clinic.   The Clinic will be set up in the Elementary Student Center from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.  Because of the limited availability of the vaccine there will be a screening to determine whether or not you meet the criteria for the vaccine.    As you may have heard on the news the target population at this time are Pregnant Women and children and anyone who has the following conditions:  Asthma, Diabetes or those diagnosed with Chronic Respiratory, Cardiac or Immunosuppressive Disease.  If you think you may fall into one of these categories or are not sure, please come and be screened.   We anticipate more vaccine to be available in December for the general population.  If you have any questions, please give me a call.
