One of the best places to get plants and cactus is Kraatz Nursery. The fifteen-acre nursery is located on Highway 77, about 2 miles north of Riviera, Texas. The owner of Kraatz Nursery is Bruce Kraatz. The Kraatz nursery has been in business for over 20 years. Mr. Kraatz said that not many plants and cactus are native to Riviera except for a few cacti. The types of plants growing at the nursery are cactus, succulents, and some native trees and bushes. The busiest time of the year for Kraatz nursery is right before spring and Christmas. Christmas cacti are very popular gifts.
