Texas Educator Excellence Grant (TEEG), Cycle 2
The De La Paz Middle School Campus is eligible to receive and has applied for a grant to establish and implement performance based incentive programs for teachers and other campus personnel. Cycle 2 campuses were selected based on 2005-2006 performance, and awards will be distributed during the 2007-2008 school year.
This program recognizes and rewards campuses enrolling high percentages of educationally disadvantaged students that either received an exemplary or recognized accountability rating, or achieved within the top quartile performance for comparable improvement in mathematics, reading/English Language Arts, or both. Please note that funding is contingent upon appropriation by the state legislature.
The incentive plan below was created by a committee of teachers and administrators at De La Paz Middle School and approved by the Site Based Decision Making committee - Riviera ISD.
